I have found another nice place!
It was bit busy time when I visited but staff were so nice. I asked a stuff recommendation of this cafe and followed. All of the food I had was delicious. If you’re toned what to order, ask Elsy! Especially the one looks like a bird nest was fascinated. I’ve never seen this kind of food! It’s not only looks good, but taste good too.
An absolutely fantastic wee spot in the city - outstanding service and the most beautiful food! We will be back again (& again & again…)! A special shout-out to Lisa - you are a legend - thank you for making us feel so welcome :)
This place has been wonderful! The customer service, food, and the aesthetic of the cafe really set a pleasant, chill and comfortable experience. Food was delicious and full of flavour, I highly recommend the IB Breakfast Roll — it was filling and savoury, filled me right up. Really recommend this place.
It was so amazing! Beautiful cafe with excellent food and very well made coffee. Service from all the staff was also amazing. My breakfast and coffee was perfect and we couldn’t ask for much more. Elsy was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us.
Best brunch experience in Sydney! A must visit !
Despite being full and busy on a weekend morning, the staff were amazingly friendly and responsive. The ambience was straightforward and cozy. The coffee was something else, it was a good blend of strong with a unique flavor combination. Their menu is diverse, from healthy, vegetarian options to the more traditional dishes. Of special note is the Porcini Nest, we highly recommend the dish to those looking for a gastronomical explosion of flavor and savor.
Nice to have a cafe that have unique breakfast options, also with an extensive coffee offerings as well. My partner and I ordered Buckwheat & Broccolini bowl and Golden Granola. We enjoyed our meals as they were tasty. Good vibe and ambience. Will be back to try out their new menu in a couple weeks time
This place has a nice modern touch with its interior design and furbishing.
It was a bit busy when we arrived around 10 in the morning (Friday) but luckily there was a small table free for the three of us.
We ordered a batch brew, cappuccino, plain croissant, porcini nest and sweetcorn fritters.
At some point something went wrong with our order which caused the porcini nest dish to be a tad colder than intended when served to us. Which was a pity because the flavors were wonderful.
After all of our ordered items were served, a staff member named Elsie came to our table and apologized profusely for what went wrong with the porcini nest.
As a compensation, she offered us to pick another dish on top of what we were having. Upon her suggestion we picked the chilli barramundi omelet. She also offered us an extra drink. At the end she also gave us a reduction on our bill.
All in all, there were some hiccups in the service but we liked the way it was acknowledged and resolved.
The coffee was great and the croissant too. We loved the sweetcorn fritters and the barramundi omelet (although spicier than we anticipated) was cooked to perfection. This place really knows how to combine flavors well.
If we were locals, this would definitely be one of our favorite places to go for coffee and brunch!
I had a Fitzroy ice coffee for $6. It was a bit light for me. Perhaps I need an espresso :) For brunch, I had one of their signature brunch, the porcini mushroom nest. It looked quite cute. The nest was from potato fries. The mushroom was nice. I wasn’t sure the grey sauce thing, perhaps a pate but it was a bit salty for my liking. It had a bit boiled kale underneath and one poached egg on the top. It was $28.
